Cassper Nyovest is mourning the death of his father.
The rapper, who is part of the IdolsSA panel of judges, announced the news on all his social media pages over the weekend.
Edgar Dikgole, who acted as a father figure to Cassper Nyovest passed away and the rapper shared the news before explaining to his fans who thought his biological father had passed away. Edgar Dikgole was Cassper Nyovest’s stepfather.
The rappers’ tweet left South Africans in confusion since the tweeted face is not familiar known Cassper Nyovest’s biological father Letsebela Phoolo’s face. As Cassper Nyovest mourns his father’s death, many people shared how they were confused as to who Edgar Dikgole was.
Cassper Nyovest however cleared the air revealing that the man is indeed his stepfather Edgar Dikgole, his mother’s husband not his biological father Letsebela Phoolo.
I see some people are confused about this post. I know i don’t need to explain myself but just to put the facts out, this man was not my biological father but he lived with my mom for years & he has been the man in my mom’s life for years hence he is my dad. RIP Papa Edgar.
