BW PARLIAMENT : Former President Ian Fondly Remembered In Palirment | The People’s Daily

Member Of Parliament for Boteti East, Setlhomo Lelatisitswe has commended former President Khama for growing and whole heartedly supporting the arts in their various forms in Botswana when it was not fashionable to do so.

Speaking today in parliament, Setlhomo Lelatisitswe said, he would like to profusely thank Former President Khama for growing the  creative industry in his constituency and across the nation at large during his illustrious presidency.

MPs are currently debating the establishment of the Botswana Arts Council (BAC)  brought to the floor of Parliament by the  Minister of Youth, Arts Sports & Culture Tumiso Rakgare.
